hi there! my name is danny! i’m a 27 year old trans/queer artist and designer living in cary, north carolina. thanks for dropping by!
i’ve been pursuing art for as long as i can remember - after earning my degree in art & design from north carolina state university, i have gone on to enjoy a career making educational games at duke university. all the while, i’ve honed my visual design and illustration skills through professional and personal projects. art is how i connect and engage with the world around me.
i am an avid learner - i want to constantly do more, see more, learn more, create more. i believe that one of the best things i can do with my time on this earth is make new things with my hands and my brain. simply put, creating brings me joy - however that happens, and whoever or whatever it leads me to, is an unknown variable i embrace.
when i’m not working, i can be found reading or cooking, picking up a new hobby, watching a movie or show with my husband, or playing with my cat, matches. i enjoy walks in cold weather, strong coffee, chinese food, video games, and wizards.
